Fatality Crash on US93 at 100 S in Jerome County

JEROME, IDAHO – Idaho State Police are investigating a two-vehicle fatality collision that occurred at 7:50 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, on US93 at 100 S in Jerome County.

A 2005 Subaru Legacy driven by a 54-year-old-male from Filer, was traveling northbound on US93. A 2019 Ford F250 pickup driven by a 25-year-old male from Bellevue, was traveling southbound on US93. The Subaru Legacy failed to yield to right of way traffic while turning left onto 100 South when the Ford pickup collided with the Subaru.

The driver of the Subaru Legacy was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Ford F250 was wearing a seatbelt and was not transported.

The intersection of US93 and 100 S was blocked for three hours.

The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
