Fatality Crash US95 at milepost 460, just south of Cocolalla, Bonner County

Idaho State Police is investigating a single vehicle fatal collision that occurred at approximately 8:45 AM on US 95 near mile post 460, just south of Cocolalla, Bonner County, Idaho.

A black 2015 Ford F-150, driven by a 45 year-old male from Post Falls, Idaho, was traveling north bound when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle veered across the south bound lanes and into a tree on the shoulder of the roadway. The driver was not wearing his seat belt and succumbed to his injuries on scene.

South bound traffic on US 95 was partially blocked for approximately 2 hours.

Next of kin has been notified.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
