On December 10th, 2018 at approximately 12:30 p.m. a fatal crash occurred on US95 at milepost 307, five miles south of Lewiston, Idaho. A white 2000 Oldsmobile Alero driven by Iona R. McConville, 67, of Lapwai, Idaho was attempting to make a left hand turn from the south entrance of the Clearwater Casino to go southbound onto US95. A tan 1998 Toyota Sienna van driven by Ivan L. Trautman, 28, of Troy, Idaho was traveling northbound US95. McConville failed to yield to Trautman and was struck on the drivers side of her vehicle. McConville died as a result of her injuries at the St Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho. Trautman's passengers, Jordann R. Ducommun, 26, of Princeton, Idaho and two juveniles were treated at the scene. Next of kin has been notified. Investigation continues.
