On October 11, 2017 at approximately 2:45 p.m. a fatal crash occurred on Highway 95 at milepost 508.5, Bonners Ferry, Idaho. A black 1984 Ford 700 truck driven by John A. Crump, 49, of Bonners Ferry, Idaho was traveling southbound when Mr. Crump lost control and rolled the vehicle. Mr. Crump was pronounced deceased at the scene; he was not wearing a safety belt. Mr. Crump's passenger, Ronald Erickson, 48, of Bonners Ferry, Idaho was transported to Boundary Community Hospital. The highway was blocked for approximately three hours. Next of kin has been notified.
