On Tuesday, January 5,2021, at approximately 07:37 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle fatality crash westbound I84 at milepost 103.6, near Hammett. Anthony Jacobsen, 41, of Hammett was driving a 2008 Ford F250 pickup westbound I84 at milepost 103.6. Jacobsen went off the left shoulder into the median and rolled. Jacobsen was ejected and succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. He was not wearing his seatbelt.

Next of kin has been notified.

This crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
