On Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at 7:53 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a non-injury crash with complete blockage on US30 at mile marker 232, east of Hansen.
Vance E. Pulsipher, 60, of Twin Falls, was traveling eastbound on US30 in a Volvo semi-truck pulling double trailers. Francisco Castillo, 65, of Jerome, was traveling westbound on US30 in a Kenworth fertilizer truck. Pulsipher failed to yield as he was attempting to turn onto East 3700 North, and struck Castillo's semi-truck.
Both drivers were wearing a seatbelt.
Both eastbound and westbound lanes of US30 were blocked for approximately 2.5 hours. The lanes have been re-opened.
