***Final Update***

On Thursday, October 3, 2019, at 12:14 p.m., Idaho State Police responded to a single vehicle injury crash at SH39 and 1900 South, south of Aberdeen. A juvenile was traveling southbound in a 1992 Ford straight truck hauling potatoes, when he slowed to turn westbound onto 1900 South. The juvenile lost control of the vehicle and overturned on the southwest corner of the intersection, striking a fence as it overturned. The fence struck a natural gas pipe causing a leak of natural gas for approximately two hours.

The driver was transported by private vehicle to Power County Hospital. The road was blocked for two and a half hours. This crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.

Idaho State Police is currently on scene of a crash on State Highway 39 at S 2800 W, just south of Aberdeen in Bingham County. All lanes northbound and southbound are blocked at this time.
