On June 11, 2017 at approximately 7:17 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle crash westbound I-84 near milepost 57, the Gowen Road exit, in Boise, ID.

A 2009 Honda Civic, driven by Katina L. Artis, 25, of Pasadena, MD, was traveling westbound on I-84 near milepost 57 when her vehicle hydroplaned, struck the median barrier, continued across the westbound lanes, and struck a 2004 Chevy Silverado, driven by Loring M. Evans, 62, of Star, ID. All occupants were wearing seat belts.

The three right most lanes were blocked for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes while crews work to clear the scene.
