On January 5, 2015, at approximately 9:25 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 15, near milepost 26, south of Downey, ID.

Sandra J. Ashley, 29, of Soda Springs, ID., was driving northbound on Interstate 15, in a 2004 Mazda 3. Ashley lost control of the vehicle and drove into the median, where the vehicle rolled.

Ashley was transported by air ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID. Transported to Portneuf Medical Center by ground ambulance was passenger Kevin L. Webster, 29, of Bountiful, UT. Neither Ashley nor Webster were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

Both northbound lanes of Interstate 15 were completely blocked for approximately 35 minutes. The right-hand lane remained blocked for an additional 25 minutes.

Idaho State Police is currently investigating a one-vehicle crash in the northbound lane of Interstate 15, near milepost 26, south of Downey, ID.

Northbound traffic is currently limited to one lane of travel through the crash area.
