Four vehicle injury crash in Post Falls, ID
Post Falls, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a four-vehicle injury crash in the city of Post Falls
At 8:00 a.m. on September 19th, 2024, Idaho State Police responded to a four-vehicle injury crash at the request of the Post Falls Police Department. The crash occurred at the intersection of 14th Ave and Spokane St.
At approximately 7:55 a.m. a 22-year-old female of Stafford, TX was traveling westbound on 14th Ave in a 2023 Tesla Model 3 when she failed to stop at the stop sign. As the Tesla traveled across Spokane St, a southbound 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by a 29-year-old female of Spirit Lake, ID, struck the Tesla. The Tesla then continued where it struck an additional two vehicles, a Chevy Silverado and Chevy Tahoe and parked in a residential driveway on West 14th Ave. The Tesla came to rest partially on top of the Tahoe. There was also damage to the residential property.
The Tesla had two passengers, a 50-year-old female from Spokane Valley, WA and a juvenile. The driver and juvenile were both in seatbelts and child restraints, however, the female passenger was not wearing a seat belt. They were transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance.
The Jeep had two juvenile passengers. All occupants were wearing seatbelts and child restraints. All occupants were transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance. The roadways were blocked for approximately 3.5 hours.
