High Visibility Enforcement Patrol on US12 near Lenore

LEWISTON, Idaho – On July 9^th, 2024, Idaho State Police District 2 Patrol conducted a High Visibility Enforcement Patrol from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., targetting aggressive drivers on US 12 between mileposts 15 and 34. The area has had multiple fatality crashes in recent months where speed and inattention were a factor. The emphasis resulted in 12 contacts, 6 speed citations, 1 excessive speed citation, 2 commercial vehicle stops for speed, and 9 warnings for speed.
