MERIDIAN – The Idaho State Police selected a design by Kuna High School sophomore Hannah Schlangen as the winning entry in its 75th Anniversary Design Challenge. Hannah’s design was unveiled during a ceremony at the Idaho Capitol on February 20th at noon by Colonel Ralph Powell.
ISP invited Idaho’s high school students to participate in the contest to design a logo to be used for ISP’s 75th Anniversary events throughout the state during 2014. Numerous entries were received from talented students across Idaho.
As part of the special recognition, Hannah was escorted to the 75th Anniversary ceremony from Kuna High School by ISP Trooper Chris Pohanka in his patrol car. Hannah also received a $100 Visa gift card as a prize for her winning entry.
