Idaho State Police investigating injury crash on Upper Pack River Road

Idaho State Police is investigating an injury crash which occurred on 12/11/2024 at 02:54 AM near the 1700 block of Upper Pack River Road.

A silver 2012 Kia Sorento was traveling westbound on Upper Pack River Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle, crossed the eastbound lanes and left the road, striking a tree. The vehicle was occupied by an 18 year-old male of Sandpoint, ID. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The male was transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance. At this time, the investigation indicates that speed may have been a factor in the incident.

This crash remains under investigation.

Bonner County Sheriff Office and Bonner County EMS assisted during the crash.
