Idaho State Police responded to injury crash Highway 95 at milepost 507

Bonners Ferry, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian injury crash that occurred just before 5:48 PM on November 26th, 2024, on US 95 near milepost 507, near Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

At approximately 5:48 PM a 78-year-old male from Bonners Ferry was traveling southbound on US95 in a Silver 2016 Honda Odyssey. A pedestrian, a 45-year-old male from Bonners Ferry, was attempting to cross US95 outside of the crosswalk. The Honda collided with the pedestrian.

The Pedestrian was transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance. The driver of the Honda Odyssey and his 69-year-old female passenger were both wearing seatbelts and were uninjured.

The southbound lane of US 95 was blocked for approximately 2 1/2 hours with alternating traffic.

The Idaho State Police was assisted by Bonners Ferry Police Department, Bonners Ferry Fire Department, and the Idaho Transportation Department.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
