On March 28th, 2020, at 6:14 pm, the Idaho State Police responded to an injury four-wheeler crash on East Forks Road off SH8/SH3,near Bovill. Roy J. Nelson, 29, of Troy, Idaho, was traveling westbound on East Forks Road, riding a red 2002 Polaris ATV. Nelson failed to negotiate a right hand curve and drove off the south shoulder of the roadway down an embankment. Nelson was transported by Life Flight to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. Nelson was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The crash is still under investigation.
