On Thursday, January 12, 2017, at 8:55 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle injury crash eastbound I84 at mile marker 211, the Heyburn/Rupert Exit.

Ryan E. Hurst, 23, of Twin Falls, was driving eastbound in a 2011 Suzuki Grand Vitara. Hurst lost control of the vehicle and drove off the right shoulder where the vehicle overturned. Hurst?s passenger, Amanda L. Yarbrough, 36, of Twin Falls, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported by air ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.

Hurst was wearing a seatbelt and was not transported.

This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
