Injury crash I90 milepost 12 Off-Ramp, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho

Kootenai County, Idaho – The Idaho State Police is investigating a one vehicle roll over injury crash that occurred at approximately 12:19 a.m. on September 24, 2026, on Interstate 90 near the mile marker 12 off-ramp in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

A silver 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, driven by a 39-year-old male from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho was traveling westbound on Interstate 90 when his vehicle left the roadway and crashed onto the embankment on the mile marker 12 off-ramp. The driver was trapped underneath his vehicle and was eventually transported to Kootenai Health.

The Idaho State Police was assisted by the Coeur d’Alene Police, Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, and Coeur d’Alene Fire and EMS.

The roadway was reopened at approximately 02:45 hours.

The crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
