On June 11, 2013, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle injury crash at the intersection of Happy Day Lane and Timbre Dr, near the DMV in Caldwell,ID.

John Nickey, 74, of Nampa, ID, was driving north on Happy Day Lane in a 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Cameron Redifer was driving north on Happy Day lane in a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup. Redifer slowed for traffic just ahead of Nickey. Nickey failed to stop and collided with the rear of Redifer's vehicle, causing minor damage.

Nickey was transported by ground ambulance to St Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise,ID. It is unknown if Nickey's injuries occurred before or after the collision. Redifer was wearing a seat belt. It Is unknown if Nickey wore a seatbelt.

This crash is still under investigation.
