On Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at approximately 7:02 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle injury crash in the Caldwell High School parking lot.

Nathan Ritter, 33, of Caldwell, was traveling southbound on Georgia Ave. in a 1997 Buick Skylark when Ritter entered the parking lot of the Caldwell High School, hit a curb, and rolled. Ritter was ejected from the vehicle and was transported by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

Ritter was not wearing a seatbelt. This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
