On Wednesday August 13, 2013 at 8:55pm, Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle injury crash involving an Ada County Deputy on SH44 at Seneca Springs, east of Star.
Holden Falk, 18 of Emmett, was traveling eastbound on SH44 in a 2001 Ford Explorer. Falk's vehicle crossed into the westbound lanes colliding with a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria being driven by Ada County Deputy Fratusco.
Falk was not wearing his seatbelt. Both Falk and Deputy Fratusco were transported by ground ambulance to St. Alphonsus Eagle. The intersection was completely blocked for about two hours. All lanes are open.
