On Sunday, September 11, 2011, at approximately 3:03pm., Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle crash near milepost 376 on US Highway 30 near Fish Creek Summit. Michelle Morrow, 48, and her passenger Eric Morrow, 24, both of Twin Falls, were traveling westbound in the right lane of US30 in a Chevrolet Impala. Morrow attempted to make a left turn, crossing the path of Jerry and Lynda Schultz, 62 and 59 of Perry, Utah who were also westbound in the left lane. Morrow's vehicle struck Schultz' Ford F150 pickup, causing her car to spin around and his truck to overturn. All occupants of the vehicles were wearing their seatbelts and were transported by ground ambulance to Caribou Memorial.
Alcohol is not a factor in this crash. All lanes of US30 were blocked for approximately two hours while crews worked to clear the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
