On May 26, 2016, at approximately 9:32 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle injury crash at 1000 E 720 North, near Richfield. Teodosio Salazar Ucharima, 46, of Peru, was driving a Case Tractor with a farm implement attached westbound on 720 North. John Jasso, 55, of Richfield, was driving a 1980 Harley Davison motorcycle westbound on 720 North. Jasso hit the back of the farm implement. Jasso was ejected from the motorcycle onto the implement and then landed on the road. Ucharima heard and felt the crash, stopped and saw the motorcycle then drove approximately 100 yards west to notify authorities. Jasso was flown by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise.
Jasso was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
