On August 28, 2012, at 9:39 am, the Idaho State Police responded to and are currently investigating a one vehicle crash southbound on Interstate 15 at mile post 87, south of Blackfoot. There were two occupants in the vehicle that sustained injuries and were transported by ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center. The vehicle was off the road in the median but the left lane was blocked while emergency crews investigated the crash and rendered aid to the injured. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
