On June 11, 2014, at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle injury crash on I-15 at milepost 103, in Bingham County. Michele Godfrey, age 48, of Blackfoot, was travelling southbound in a 2005 Oldsmobile Lancer. The vehicle crossed the fog line and struck a 1997 Chevy full size van that was parked in the emergency lane with a flat tire. The van was unoccupied at the time of the crash.
The right-hand lane of the Interstate was blocked for approximately two hours while the scene was investigated.
Godfrey was transported by ground ambulance to Bingham Memorial Hospital. She was wearing a seatbelt.
This crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police
