Injury Crash on SH21 Sends Two to the Hospital

BOISE COUNTY, ID – Idaho State Police is investigating a single vehicle crash southbound SH21 at milepost 19, just south of Idaho City. The crash occurred on August 26th, 2025 at 3:16 P.M.

A 44-year-old male driver from Boise, a 36-year-old female passenger, and a juvenile passenger from Caldwell was driving southbound on SH21 in a white 2015 Ford F150 when the vehicle went off the road.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported via air ambulance. The passenger was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported via ground ambulance. The infant was secured in a child seat and did not receive any injuries.

The roads were blocked for approximately 2 hours.

ISP was assisted at the scene by the Boise County Sheriff’s Department, Boise County Fire Department, Boise County EMS, and BLM.

The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
