On December 8th, 2012, at 12:00 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle injury crash at the intersection of State Highway 50 and 3600 East, near Kimberly, Idaho. A student driver was stopped at the stop sign at that intersection in a red 2002 Chevy Prism. She attempted to cross SH50 heading southbound when she was struck by Bonnie Creech, 51, from Hansen, who was traveling westbound on SH50 in a beige 1997 Buick Park. Both drivers were transported by ground ambulance to Saint Lukes Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
The westbound lanes of traffic of State Highway 50 were blocked for approximately two hours. This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
