INCIDENT NARRATIVE: Nelson was driving his 1988 Chevy pickup eastbound on SH8 at milepost 22 when he rear ended Phillips' 1987 Honda Accord as he was slowing to turn into his driveway. SH8 was blocked for approximately 2 hours 15 minutes. Phillips was transported to Gritman Medical Center by Deary Ambulance for injuries sustained in the crash. Seatbelts were worn by all occupants. Alcohol use is being investigated.
