INCIDENT NARRATIVE: Zinn was traveling westbound on Silver Valley road when he crossed the centerline for an unknown reason. He then drifted off the south shoulder of the roadway for approximately 40 feet and struck a Idaho Dept. of Transportation drilling vehicle that was parked and coned off. Zinn was ejected from the motorcycle at which time his helmet came off during impact. Zinn was flown to Kootenai Medical Center. Alcohol was not a factor, investigation continues.
