On May 3, 2015, at 2:08 am, Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle injury crash south of Eden.

Jorge D. Garcia, 22, of Twin Falls, was traveling westbound on 990 South in a 2005 Dodge Durango when he drove off the shoulder of the road. The vehicle hit an embankment, rolled, and came to rest in the middle of the intersection of 990 South and SH50.

Garcia was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported by Air St. Luke's to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.

A small portion of SH50 was blocked for almost two hours while crews worked to remove the wreckage.
