On February 28, 2020 at approximately 5:30 pm an injury crash occurred southbound US95 at milepost 300 in Lapwai, Idaho. A silver 2016 Nissan Quest driven by Jessica L Redheart , 64, of Lewiston, was traveling east on Main St approaching US95. A black 2009 Chevy Colbalt driven by Corrina C Penney, 33, of Lapwai , was traveling southbound on US 95 when Ms. Redheart pulled out in front of Ms. Penney and was struck. Ms. Penney was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to St Josephs in Lewiston. Ms Redheart was wearing her seatbelt. The roadway was blocked for approximately one hour. The investigation continues.
