INCIDENT NARRATIVE: Sands was traveling east bound on Kathleen, crossed US 95 against a flashing red light in front of Murinko who was traveling NB US 95 at Mile post 431.7 in Coeur d Alene. Murinkos vehicle struck Sands vehicle in the right front passenger door. Severe injuries were sustained and extrication was necessary for the driver and passengers of Sands vehicle. North bound US 95 traffic was diverted as well as traffic on Kathleen for approximately 3 hours. Alcohol was not a factor. Investigation continues by the Idaho State police.
