On February 5th, 2018 at approximately 4:08 am when an injury crash occurred on US12 near milepost 51.7 just west of Greer, Idaho. A 2004 Ford Escape driven by Daniel P. Ward, 59, of Las Vegas, NV was traveling eastbound

when Mr. Ward struck a tree that had fallen into the roadway. His passenger, Candace M. Ward, 56, of Las Vegas, NV was injured and transported by private vehicle to the Clearwater Valley Hospital in Orofino, Idaho. Both occupants were wearing their seat belts. The highway was blocked for approximately 1 1/2 hours while the Dept. of Transportation removed the fallen tree.
