On June 10, 2021, approximately 9:16 am, Idaho State Police Troopers responded to a serious injury motorcycle crash, eastbound on US 12 near milepost 46. Eddie Cramlet, 65, and his passenger, Gloria Busby, 64, both of Palm Desert, California, were traveling westbound on US 12 near milepost 46 on a motorcycle. Cramlet lost control of the motorcycle, causing them to travel left of center, entering the ditch of the eastbound lane. Both Cramlet and Busby were transported to Clearwater Valley Hospital in Orofino, by ground ambulance, with serious injuries. The crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police. They were assisted by Clearwater County Sheriff?s Office and Clearwater EMS.
