On December 19th, 2019 at 10:25 am, the Idaho State Police responded to an injury crash on US2 at milepost 20, west of Sandpoint. Joshua R. Horn, 23, Spokane, WA, driving a red 2014 Penske truck, was eastbound on US2 when he lost control of the vehicle while trying to brake for traffic. He slid left of center and struck a blue 2007 GMC pickup being driven by Glenn G. Davis, 72, Oldtown, ID. Davis was transported to Bonner General, Horn was not injured. All drivers were wearing seatbelts. Investigation ongoing.
