On Sunday, August 4th, 2019, at 11:57 AM, the Idaho State Police responded to an injury crash on US2 milepost 0.8 near Oldtown, Idaho. A green 1994 Dodge Caravan, driven by Jean Norris (65 year old female of Newport, WA) made left turn from the north side of the highway from a fuel station. Norris pulled in front of a white 2007 Kia Spectra driven by April Stamos (29 year old female of Coeur d'Alene, ID) who traveling westbound on US2. The two vehicles collided. Norris was transported to Newport Community Hospital with non-lifethreatening injuries. Stamos refused medical treatment. Both Norris and Stamos were wearing seatbelts. Investigation is ongoing.
