On April 15, 2018 at 4:02 pm the Idaho State Police investigated to a two vehicle injury crash in the middle of the intersection at US95/Hayden Ave. Crystal D. Isbell, 42, of Hayden, ID, was stopped at a red light in her red 1999 Jeep Wrangler waiting to make a left turn from northbound US95 at Hayden Ave. Ms. Isbell turned westbound into the path of a silver 2018 Dodge Ram Pickup being driven by Thomas P. Young, 51, of Redondo Beach, CA. Mr. Young attempted to avoid the collision, was unable, and the vehicles collided in the intersection. The road was blocked for just under one hour. Mr. Young was wearing his seatbelt, Ms. Isbell was not and was transported to Kootenai Health.
