INCIDENT NARRATIVE: Traffic was slowing on westbound I90 at milepost 34 for an unrelated semi tractor that had jackknifed in the Interstate. Bailey was slowing in the left hand lane due to stopped traffic. Sanchez was slowing as well and was unable to stop in time and side swiped the log truck. Tikhonov was also traveling westbound and failed to stop, striking the rear end of both Bailey's log truck and Sanchez's semi trailer. The log truck was then pushed into the center median. The road was blocked for approximately 8 hours. The road conditions at the time of the crash were extremely icy. Tikhonov was transported to Kootenai Health and Bagaychuk was flown to Sacred Heart.
