INCIDENT NARRATIVE: Ellenwood was traveling eastbound on US 12. He went onto the shoulder and lost control. He turned sideways and came back on the highway. He then crossed the center line striking Brandt. Brandt required extrication from her vehicle. Both lanes of travel were closed for approximately an hour. At the time of this release, west bound lane is still closed. Alcohol involvement is suspected. Investigation continues.
