On March 29, 2018 the Idaho State police investigated a one vehicle log truck crash. David T. Stanton, 45 years old, of Orofino Idaho, was traveling northbound on US95 at milepost 420, just south of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Mr. Stanton drove off the right shoulder of the roadway, striking a guard rail end. The log truck continued up the embankment and overturned. The northbound lanes were blocked for 20 minutes until traffic control was set up. Mr. Stanton was transported to Kootenai Health, it is unknown if he was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
