On June 13, 2019 at 8:36am the Idaho State Police responded to an injury motorcycle crash westbound on US12 at milepost 165, near Powell, Idaho. John R. McGregor, 68 years old of Ontario, Canada, was driving a black 2006 Honda GL8 when he struck two deer that jumped out in front of him. Mr. McGregor was transported to St. Pat in Missoula by ambulance. His passenger, Gloria Wright, 70 years old, also of Ontario, Canada was airlifted to St. Pats. Both riders were wearing helmets.
