ISP Investigates Two-Vehicle Collision

PAYETTE COUNTY – Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred around 10:22 a.m. on July 15, 2024, on US95 at milepost 55 in Payette County.

At about 10:22 a.m., a 42-year-old male from Payette, was traveling northbound on US95 in a white 2002 Toyota Sequoia. The Toyota Sequoia crossed the center line into the southbound lanes of travel where it collided head on with a 2024 Subaru Forester driven by a 42-year-old male from Parma with a juvenile in the backseat.

Occupants of the Subaru Forester were taken to a local hospital via air ambulance and the driver of the Toyota Sequoia was taken to a local hospital via ground ambulance. All occupants of both vehicles were wearing seat belts.

Lanes were blocked for approximately four and a half hours to allow emergency personnel to assist those on scene.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
