ISP Investigates Two-Vehicle Collision Fatality Crash Near Jerome
JEROME, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle fatality crash at US93 just north of milepost 63, north of Jerome.
At 10:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 3, 2025, a 2005 Ford Explorer, driven by 27- year-old male from Jerome, was driving southbound on US93. A 2012 Dodge Journey, driven by 20-year-old female out of Peru, with a 41-year-old passenger from Peru, was traveling northbound on US93. The Ford Explorer crossed into the northbound lanes and collided with the Dodge Journey.
The driver of the Ford was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.
The driver and minor passenger of the Dodge Journey were transported by air ambulance, and the other passenger sustained critical injuries and succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash.
All occupants were wearing seatbelts.
Both northbound and southbound lanes of US93 were blocked for approximately 5 hours.
Idaho State police was assisted by Jerome County Sheriff Office, Magic Valley Paramedics, and Jerome Rural Fire
This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police
