ISP investigating a single vehicle fatality

Fruitland, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a single vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 4:21 p.m. on Friday August 23, 2024, on State Highway 52 near milepost 6, east of Fruitland, Idaho.

A 30-year-old male, from Nampa, Idaho, was driving a Toyota Corolla westbound on State Highway 52 near milepost 6. The driver of the Corolla lost control and drove off the roadway and onto the left-hand shoulder. The driver struck a powerline. The driver succumbed to his injuries on scene.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt

ISP was assisted by Payette County sheriff’s office and medical services.

The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
