ISP trooper to receive MVP award at law enforcement luncheon

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho — Idaho State Police Sgt. Amanda Ward will be recognized with the MVP Award, honoring individuals who go above and beyond in service to others, during the 2nd Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Luncheon hosted by the Greater Idaho Falls Police Foundation.

Ward’s recognition highlights her exceptional commitment to service. In addition to her work as a trooper, Ward is an active member of the Honor Guard and serves on the peer support team — roles that extend her impact well beyond traditional enforcement duties.

The luncheon will take place Thursday, Feb. 5, at noon at Melaleuca Headquarters and will honor law enforcement professionals from across Bonneville County, including the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho Falls Police Department, and the Idaho State Police.

Tickets to the Law Enforcement Appreciation Luncheon are $30 per person and are available to the public. Proceeds support ongoing community and law enforcement initiatives led by the Greater Idaho Falls Police Foundation.
