On Tuesday, October 22nd, 2013, at approximately 2:40pm, Idaho State Police conducted a traffic stop on a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country van, on Interstate 86 near milepost 29, near American Falls in Power County, Idaho. The vehicle was traveling east and was stopped for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as 26 year old Michael Torgerson, from Leeds, North Dakota. Pursuant to the traffic stop, 6 pounds of suspected marijuana was found and seized. Torgerson is incarcerated in the Power County Jail where he is being charged with trafficking a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
