Medical Emergency Leads to Incident on Interstate 90 in Post Falls

POST FALLS, ID – Idaho State Police with the help of Post Falls Police Department responded to reports of a wrong way driver on I-90 starting around mile post 5. A red Honda Ridgeline was traveling west bound on the east bound shoulder of I-90. The vehicle slid down an embankment near mile post 2 and came to rest. Law enforcement arrived on scene and medical personnel were requested. The driver was experiencing a medical emergency and was transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance.

Alcohol was not a factor in this incident.
