On March 1st, 2018 at 11:22 p.m. a minor injury crash occurred on SH62 at milepost 9.3, nine miles east of Craigmont, Idaho. A black 2000 Oldsmobile Bravada SUV driven by Leonard L Marshall, 47, of Nezperce, Idaho was travelling westbound when he lost control of his vehicle. He drove left of center, onto the eastbound shoulder and continued down a fifty foot embankment. Both the driver and passenger, Tami S Price, 45, of Nezperce, Idaho were transported to St Marys Hospital in Cottonwood by ground ambulance. It is unknown at this time if either occupant was wearing a seatbelt. The incident is still under investigation.
