On July 26, 2012, at approximately 8:40 p.m., Idaho State Police Troopers investigated a crash eastbound on US20 at milepost 310, near the intersection of Lewisville Highway. Ryan Curtis Anderson, age 40, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, was driving east on US20 and lost control of his motorcycle, laying it down on the roadway.

Anderson was not wearing a helmet, and was transported by ground ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
