On June 22, 2021, at approximately 1:56 PM, the Idaho State Police investigated a one vehicle crash on State Highway 53 near Hauser Lake Road. A black 1998 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Shawn Brant, Kellogg, Idaho was travelling eastbound on SH53 near Hauser Lake Road. Witnesses state Brandt lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. Brant was not wearing a helmet and was transported to Kootenai Health.
