Multiple Crashes Block I184 Flyover in Boise

BOISE, Idaho – Idaho State Police (ISP) is investigating multiple vehicle collisions which occurred on Monday, April 7, 2025, on the flyover from westbound I184 to eastbound I84, in Ada County.

At 08:17 A.M., a 2004 Honda Civic was traveling westbound on I184.  The driver, a 40-year-old man from Mountain Home, drove off the left shoulder and impacted the jersey barrier.  He was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured.

At 8:41 A.M., a secondary crash occurred involving a 2000 Toyota Echo which was traveling westbound on I184.  The driver, a 36-year-old man from Meridian, drove off the right shoulder.  The vehicle impacted the jersey barrier and overturned onto its side.  He was not wearing his seatbelt and was not transported.

ISP, with the assistance of the Idaho Transportation Department, blocked all westbound lanes of travel on the flyover for approximately one hour, allowing emergency responders to assist those involved and clear the scene.

These incidents remain under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
